2009 MS Walk – Join or Donate!

Hello NAAP-NY,

The MS WALK is around the corner and it's time to register and begin raising money. The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Walk is a walk to raise money for the fight against a disease of the central nervous system. Every person that participates raises money in order to continue research into the cause and cure of this disease. For the fifth consecutive year, NAAP-NY will be participating in the walk. This year, the walk is scheduled for Sunday, April 19, 2009 in Manhattan.

Having MS means that you may not be able to walk when you wake up, or that you may suddenly have impaired vision, or that your memory will fail you at any given moment. The symptoms of MS are plenty, and vary for everyone - the only certainty is that it will affect yet another person every hour of every day. NAAP-NY will be walking under Team HASSOUB and Tania G. Chalhoub will be the NAAP-NY Team Captain. The name 'Hassoub' comes from Hasib, Tania's father's name. He is her inspiration and the reason she started walking in the fight against MS. In the past 4 years, our team have consisted of 20-40 people and collectively we have raised nearly $25,000! With your support, we hope this year will be even bigger and better! Click on "Register Now" on the left hand side of the page under Walk MS New York City Chapter
Enter "Team HASSOUB" and click "Search for Team"
Click on "Join" when Team HASSOUB appears
Fill out the required fields in the registration form
