ARAB-AMERICAN MENTORSHIP PROGRAM (AMP)

Are you thinking about your future career path?
Do you want to learn more about a specific field?
Are you still deciding on a major?

NAAP-NY has developed the Arab-American Mentorship Program FOR YOU. We are a group of diverse professionals that want to answer your questions through career planning, networking, advising and development. Drawn from a pool of talented professionals, NAAP mentors agree to spend time with students to welcome them into the often daunting "real world" and to share experiences about their professions. Mentors have a range of perspectives and diverse professional backgrounds (law, media, entertainment, business, marketing, medicine, computers, etc.).

Connecting college students with professionals sets the groundwork for an invaluable mentoring relationship and serves to enhance the Arab-American community. NAAP-NY strives to use the experiences and resources of our members to help each other as best as we can. Through our flexible mentorship program, mentors and students develop their own relationship over time.

Thank you for your interest in NAAP-NY's Arab-American Mentorship Program. To date, we have had more than 70 professionals and students participate in the Mentorship Program. Due to the overwhelming number of requests, this project will be on hold temporarily as it undergoes some changes and improvements.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact NAAP-NY’s Student Affairs Facilitators at NYstudentaffairs@naaponline.org. Thank you for patience, and please check back soon for updates.
