Iraqi Orphan Initiative Event at Columbia University

Dear NAAP-NY,
There are an estimated 4.5 million orphaned Iraqi children. There are 500,000 children living in streets without a home or family care. There are only 459 orphans in governmental orphanages. 92% of children surveyed show signs of post-traumatic stress disorder.
Help make a difference! Please join NAAP-NY and the Arab Student Association at SIPA (Columbia University) to learn more about the Iraqi Orphan Initiative.
This event will aim to shed light on the sad realities for Iraqi orphans and present attendees with the tools needed to begin helping!
