About The Show:

On June 4th, 2005, we hosted our first ever Cultural Fashion Show
- and it was a huge success! The beautiful Middle East-inspired
Dahesh Museum (www.daheshmuseum.com) served as the perfect atmosphere for this celebration of Arab music, cultural dance,
fashion design, and modern and traditional apparel.

We would like to thank the dedicated team of people who have
been working tirelessly for the past 6 months to make this
show a reality. We would like to send special gratitude
to Yomna Nasser and Dina Mekawi, who contributed
countless hours in leading this project with enthusiasm
and commitment that has been inspiring to all of us.

For those who could not make it, we wanted
to give you some of the highlights of the show. As a testament
to everyone's hard work, the show was completely sold out,
with over 215 people in attendance, and covered tremendously
by the media, with over 20 press outlets present, including
the ABC News, Associated Press (AP), Dandana TV and Al-Jazeera.
