In collaboration with the Rights Working Group, Center for human Rights & Global Justice - NYU Law School and Breakthrough- Bring Human Rights Home, we are screening 2 important documentaries followed by Q&A.

What: Racial Profiling in America, film screening & Q&A
When: Tuesday 12/7, 6:30-9:30
Where: NYU Law School - Furman Hall (located at 245 Sullivan St. (Corner of Sullivan and W 3rd)

• "Face the Truth: Racial Profiling Across America" is a powerful documentary short that features stories of individuals affected by racial profiling and interviews with notable law enforcement and civil society leaders. The video underscores the need to stop racial profiling by federal, state and local law enforcement.
• Americans on Hold: Profiling, Prejudice, and National Security" is a documentary film that exposes the U.S. government's use of discriminatory profiling in the name of national security, and its impact on South Asian, Arab, Middle Eastern, and Muslim community members.

Following the screenings, we'll have Q&A with filmmakers:

• Madhuri Mohindar, Breakthrough
• Nadine Wahab, Rights Working Group
