We are happy to announce that tickets for the third annual NY Arab-American Comedy Festival (NYAACF) taking place November 13-17, 2005, are now on sale. Thanks to the support of the Arab-American community over the last two years, we have expanded this year's Festival to 5 nights. We are also excited to unveil our new website (www.arabcomedy.org) which has detailed info about each event and ticket information: www.arabcomedy.org.
Our Festival will kick off on Sunday, November 13 with two nights of comedic theater performances featuring 6 new theater works never seen before, including our Festival's first ever musical. No topic is off limits this year as we comedically tackle topics from Palestine, to Arab dating, to racial profiling, to religious fundamentalism and President Bush.
The Festival will then showcase the top Arab-American stand up comics from around the country with three shows over two nights. We will present two Arab headliner shows plus one show which will bring you the "New Faces" of Arab comedy showcasing the best up and coming Arab-American comics. Comics appearing include from Los Angeles, Aron Kader, who has appeared on Comedy Central and Fox's Bernie Mac Show, NY's Maysoon Zayid (MTV,NBC, Al Jazeera)and Dean Obeidallah (Recipient of first of Bill Hicks award, Comedy Central) from Michigan, Amer Zahr and featuring a very funny Suheir Hammad.
Our Festival will close on Thursday, November 17 with a short comedic film and closing night party with a tribute to legendary Arab-American actor Jamie Farr, best known as the lovable Cpl. Klinger from the show M*A*S*H. DJ Jungle will then spin songs so that we can all dance late into the night.

You can also purchase a Festival pass for $40 (even cheaper) which will save you $5 and admit you to one theater show, one stand up show and the closing night party.
The NY Arab-American Comedy Festival is the only Arab-American Festival in the United States dedicated exclusively to comedy. So accept no substitutes! (The NY Arab-American Comedy Festival is a not for profit organization.)
