National Contingent for Justice in the Middle East: Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon 1/27/07
Hello NAAP-NY!
Saturday, January 27th will see the next national anti-war march called by United for Peace and Justice. Thousands from across the country will converge in Washington D.C. to demand NO to WAR! We have been working with Adalah-NY: the Coalition for Justice in the Middle East to organize a national contingent to demand:
-US out of the Middle East
-End Israeli Apartheid
-Stop US Aid to Israel
This year saw m ore than 600 Palestinians and 1,200 Lebanese killed by Israeli forces and marked 655,000 Iraqis killed since the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Moreover the US vetoed a United Nations Security Council resolution requiring Israel to cease its attacks, gave Israel billions of dollars in aid, including an emergency shipment of bombs, and implied war with Syria and Iran.
Given this massive escalation in destruction unleashed by the United States and Israel, it is important that you come out and make your voices heard!
