Hello NAAP Members and friends!
We are excited to announce the launch of DAWN: Democracy in the Arab World NOW - an awareness campaign developed by NAAP and friends to connect the American and Arab people under a common cause and through the shared desires of liberty, justice, freedom and dignity.
This campaign is launched in response to the recent events unfolding in the Arab world. 'People power' has shown us that once unimaginable events can be brought to fruition if enough people stand up.
While we are all organizing heavily in solidarity, we've all felt there is more we can do - especially when tapping into our broader networks across American society and the masses who share the fundamental values of the pro-democracy movements in our mother countries. There are three main actions to take:

This is not about political parties or organizations. Nor is it about calling for the overthrow of governments, or advocating for specific platforms. This is purely about the 'people', and how to raise awareness and action here, in solidarity with those striving for freedom.
