*In an effort to support our brothers and sisters in Palestine NAAP NY will be endorsing the July 26th Demonstration for Palestine by Al-Awda-NY-NJ. Rally & March with us FOR PALESTINE!
Bring homemade signs, drums, noise makers, Palestinian flags and your koufiyah! Spread the word!

July 26, 2002- Al-Awda-NY/NJ calls on all supporters of Palestine and the Palestinian people to join us as we rally to defend Palestine while the US government supports the brutality by the Israeli government towards the Palestinian people. We demand an end to all aid for Israel. We demand an end to the occuptation without conditions. We demand self-determination for the Palestinian people. Also, we demand the return of 5 million Palestinian refugees to their homeland.
We call on all supporters from the New York/New Jersey area to attend and help us mobilize for the protest. At a critical moment like this when the US and Israel are attempting to crush the Intifada and force endless concessions, we should not be silent and we will not be! Our voices must be heard by the Senators, the President, and the people. We will defend Palestine and not be silenced while other governments make choices for Palestine and the Palestinian people.

Protest The Bush Plan.
In his recent speech, President Bush accused the Palestinian Authority of sponsoring “terrorism”. He demanded that the Palestinians choose a new leadership before they ‘qualify’ for an independent state. This is an attempt by Bush to deny the Palestinians the Right of Self- determination as a nation. At the same time, Bush continues to call Ariel Sharon, the architect of the massacres of Sabra and Shatila, a ‘man of peace’.
Once again, Bush ignored the fact that the brutal Israeli occupation and denial of the Palestinians’ most basic human rights- including the right of return for 5 million refugees- is the source of the problem. Moreover, the US continues to give more than $5 Billion in aid to Israel every year. Bush continues to support Israel’s brutal war on the Palestinian people while the US Congress pass anti-Palestinian Resolutions.
Rally & March with us FOR PALESTINE!
