This is a month long art exhibit of Palestinain Artists, from home and abroad. Throughout the month there will be events on every Saturday at the WAH Center, and some off site as well. See below for the Calender of events.

An exclusive presentation and live show of Henna Art- learn the history, significance and beauty of Henna.
Samia Halaby: Contemporary Palestinian Painting & Book Signing 2:20pm-2:45pm
The well-known Palestinian artist, Samia Halaby will speak on Palestinian painting of the last thirty years, followed by a book signing of her latest book.
Artist Slide Lectures 3:00pm-5:00pm
Palestinian artists will speak about their works: Rana Bishara, Rajie Cook, Ibrahim Nashashibi and Hani Shehadi.
The New Generation of Art from Palestine: Panel Discussion 5:15pm-6:00pm
The panel will include emerging artists participating in the show: Rana Bishara, Hassan Hourani, Alexandra Handal, Emily Jacir and Dahna Abou Rahme

Musical Performance by Najib Shaheen and the Qantara ensemble, an internationally renown master of classical Arab music / Raqs Sharqi by Morocco & Tarek / A Debke Fashion Show presented by Lubna of her Resort 2002 Footwear Collection / and a Jam into the night with the tabla and hiip-hop beats of DJ Amir's fusions of East meets West.

This is your last chance to see this inspiring exhibition of artwork by 50 Palestinian artists.

- J, M, or Z to Marcy Street and walk on Broadway back to the River (catch the J at the Delancey stop)
- L Train one stop into Brooklyn to Bedford Avenue.Walk south and under the Williamsburg Bridge to Broadway.
- BQE to Flushing Ave, turn right at light, left at Bedford Ave., go straight till you hit Broadway.
- Keep right when crossing the Williamsburg Bridge which leads you to Broadway. Turn right on Broadway. Drive 2 blocks to Bedford.
