Lebanon Evacuees Debrief on Experience 7/26/06
Dear NAAP-NY,
Dear NAAP-NY and Friends,
We are all horrified by what is taking place in Lebanon and Gaza. The situation has deteriorated exponentially as the systematic targeting of civilians and massive destruction of infrastructure continues.
In an effort to generate some media coverage of the dire consequences of this war for civilians, NAAP-NY has invited recent evacuees from Lebanon to share their on-the-ground stories. Living for days in a constant state of siege and under a barrage of artillery and missile bombardment, speakers will share their insights and perspectives.
Evacuees will also take audience questions following their remarks.
