Hello NAAP-NY and friends!

Since it's launch in March the NAAP-NY Book Club has been a great success! So far we've read and discussed two amazing books; The great novel "The Palace Walk" by Naguib Mahfouz, the classic of modern Arab history "The Arab Awakening" by George Antonious, "The Crusades through Arab Eyes" by Amin Malouf, Edward Said's Orientalism' to name a few...

Our goal is to provide members with ongoing opportunities to learn more about, and discuss with fellow members issues relevant to the Arab-American experience. Specifically, foster discussion around identity, history, literature, political analysis and current events.
