Photo Album: Iron Sheik Concert The award-winning, west-coast, hip-hop artist Iron Sheik headlined a concert sponsored by NAAP-DC on July 25, 2003 at GUA-RAPO. Nearly 100 people attended to rock da house as the Sheik performed live many of his best-selling hits, including "Olive Trees" and "The Tale of the 3 Mohammads." When the Sheik sang "The Oil Anthem," the crowd erupted, overjoyed with tarab. The concert was just one leg on the Sheik's Rhymes for Palestine East Coast Tour, designed to educate people about the plight of the Palestinian people, as they continue to suffer under an illegal, Israeli, military occupation.
