Calling on all filmmakers of Middle-Eastern Origin:

Do you have an amazing script/screenplay?
Do you need funds in order to shoot and produce this film?

This is the chance of a lifetime to direct your short film (less than 30 minutes) that you dream about every night. We are currently accepting screenplays as part of a national competition to help support aspiring Arab-American Filmmakers to direct and produce their film onsite in Hollywood with the generous support of Tony Shalhoub and the Network of Arab American Professionals (NAAP).

What’s in it for me?

In order to raise the Arab-American community’s awareness on just how important it is to diversify in the film industry, NAAP will help the recipient of this award by raising money from the community. A contribution to the movie's production services related to lighting, filming, producing, etc. will be donated by Tony Shalhoub.

Due to many requests, the final deadline for submission has been extended to March 1st 2005.
