Najla Said available for questions post screening of "Selves and Others:
A Portrait of Edward Said), a fabulous Saturday Gala Dinner and Party with live
entertainment, an MTV Rock the Vote event on Friday, an opportunity to network
with the Jordanian and Syrian embassies and hear them speak, addresses by the
presidential campaigns, Tony Shalhoub and believe it or not, much more!

of the Arab-American community and our continuous efforts to empower one another

NAAP National Conference is "Empowering Our Community" through all

Imad Moustapha, Ambassador of Syria to the United States, will address the topic
of "Bridging the Gap Between Arab and Arab-American: A Case Study of Syria."
Additionally, Palestinian-American Playwright and Actress, Betty Shamieh
will open the lunch by addressing the broader topic of Empowerment through non-traditional
avenues such as the Arts and Entertainment.
